Canadian Basketball is

OnPoint Basketball

Every year now Canadian kids are being drafted to the NBA. It’s about time someone shines some light on the hard work they put in. It’s about time we support our athletes!

WHO?

Drew Ebanks

He seemed to be an average guy from Markham, On who pursued his college education like everybody else. A curious and surprising result, he actually turned out to be a fashion problem solver for the average consumer.

HOW?

Through Social Media

Social & digital media. Impressions through these avenues have catapulted influencers all over the world. However, Matt preaches how content is King and what your audience views as being a representation of yourself; your own quality.

He is currently in the process of curating fashion shows with a twist located around the world.

WHY?

We Don't Know Our Own Identity

Matt recognized that from his place of pain came his innate desire for projecting his self interest and style. His experiences growing up allowed him to realize the box he was put in. He is now on a mission to change how people communicate with each other, how we express ourselves, and to find your style representing who you are as a person.

OnPoint X NO925

The Beginning

After the successful launch of the 2017 OnPoint Basketball Summer ProAm, Drew had reached a significant pinnacle of the OnPoint brand. Although critics would claim he is now competing against the Crown League, OVO, and other leagues throughout the GTA, Drew maintained his saying of “Scarborough Needs This!”

NO925 members Teq Zwarych & Joshua Smikle would play in and attend the ProAM. Through mutual connections, a desire to create content, and an urge to showcase talented entrepreneurs, the documentary of the basketball league slowly developed into an in depth look at the media mogul himself.

After countless interviews, storyboards, and hundreds of hours captured, the story of Canadian Basketball and the lengths Drew Ebanks goes to showcase the young Canadian talent will soon be released!

Where Do You Start?

Image module

Drew found a need based off his love for the game. “There is so much talent here, but why don’t we see the coverage of this game that we love so much?”

Develop a plan, go to the tournaments, games, practices and highlight the stars!

Content is King

5 years in and Drew’s content speaks for itself. He travels without borders because basketball is worldwide. If you need to go to Shanghai, you go. If you need to go to the prep schools, you go.

Everyone is waiting for you to do it, only for them to tell you if they like it or not.

The End Goal

Image module

Is there an end goal, or is seeing more and more Canadian ballers playing professionally around the world enough? Maybe it just took someone to care just a little bit more about the players in our community and not only the NBA.

We don’t think it will ever stop, there is no end game. But you keep going simply realizing that everyone loves this game. Drew decided to put this team on his back, which is why the players ride with him.

``The Show``

When you are 5 years into the game, have created thousands of hours of content, and have creative writers/videographers/photographers drooling to work and represent the OnPoint brand, it is only natural to go back to the drawing board.

What can you do now that will set you a part from your competition and launch you to platforms for an international audience? Start your own show, the OnPoint Show.
